The Year 6 residential visit will be to the High
Adventure Outdoor Education Centre, Cowling, Keighley, BD22 0AA. This will take place
Wednesday 29th January 2025 until Friday 31st January 2025. Those who have completed the consent form and paid the £10 deposit will need to pay the remaining balance as soon as possible. Thank you.
As part of the National Curriculum PE requirements, children in Year 5 Class B: Miss Rainbow’s class will be taken for weekly swimming lessons on Tuesday afternoons, starting from Tuesday 4th February 2025

We have some spaces available for the Music after school club. They are as follows:
· Year 1 and 2: Voice and Percussion- 4pm
finish.
· Year 3 to Year 6: Samba Drumming and
Recorder– 3.50pm finish.

School council have created a business called Marland EcoMart. We’d like to make a huge difference to the environment by introducing a Refill Shop that we run at school. We hope by having a convenient refill shop at school, you’ll find it easier to refill and reuse. The ECO Refill shop will be open on Tuesday 28th January 2025 at 3-3.30pm in the dance and drama room, next to the Year 5 doors. We hope to see you there and don’t forget your 500ml container!
Year 3 will be visiting the Manchester Museum, this is linked to their topic work on Ancient Egyptians. Children will be going on the following date:
· Friday 14th February 2025
The cost of the trip will be £5. This is a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the visit and transport. The cost of the visit has been subsidised by school.
