An incident occurred on the staff car park this week where some children were involved in a near miss with a car on the car park.
At Marland Hill, the safety of our children is paramount and we are working very hard to make sure that the car park is not becoming unsafe at drop-off and pick-up times. The car park should only be used by agreement with the Headteacher in exceptional circumstances. Please take care and be vigilant at all times in and around the school grounds. Thank you for your continuing support.
Some children took part in the All4sport Boccia/New Age Curling Festival at Middleton Arena on Thursday.
Some of our children in Year 6 attended Young Voices at Manchester Arena on Thursday. They all performed so brilliantly and we are so very proud of you all.
Well done!
Some of our children from HI visited Hollingworth Lake on Wednesday. Children looked around a small stable block and met a miniature Shetland pony!
Year 3 children all had so much fun cooking with fruit. They made a Stone Age Fruit Stew. They used berries, apples, and honey to make hominid feast!

Year 1 have been working hard and learning about their current topic: Florence Nightingale. Children brought in photographs when they were born, when they celebrated their first birthday, and when they started school and created their own timelines.
