Our Reception children will be practicing brushing their teeth at school with their friends very soon. Parents should have received a letter about this recently. If not, please call into the school office to ask for a copy, or please download one from our 'letters home' section of this website.
Please return your permission slip as soon as possible to your child's class teacher, as without this your child will not be allowed to take part.
Your child will also be be given a tooth brushing kit, for them to use at home. Please encourage your child to use it regularly, and practice good oral hygiene from a young age. Thank you for your co-operation.
Thank you to those parents who managed to get children into school and on time, despite the snowy weather. We work hard to ensure we are open during bad weather spells. We will always keep in touch with parents about any changes to the school by text message, so please ensure that we have your up to date phone number/s.
We are raising money for Comic relief this year by holding a 'dress in red' day on Friday 15th March 2019. All children are invited to come to school in non uniform (including an item of red clothing), for a donation of £1.
As a result of feedback from parents, staff and children we will not be selling red noses in the school office this year. Sainsbury’s and Argos are both selling red noses this year.

We invited some very proud parents along to our special assembly this morning, to watch their children receive awards for outstanding effort at school.
Well done to:
Jack Howarth (Foundation Stage)
Aiza Sohail (KS1)
Fatima Tariq (Lower KS2) and
Alfie Crosten (Upper KS2)
You are all superstars!
Please see our Celebration Assembly page for details of their individual achievements and to watch the video!
Last week, the children in Year 4 took part in their very own Marland Hill Multiplication Masters competition. The children all worked incredibly hard on learning the multiplication facts to 12 x 12 but in the end there could only be one winner. Incredibly well done to Nourane Ben Cheikh who scored an amazing 34 out of 35 in just one minute. Outstanding effort!
