Children whose classes are closed will be allocated a special attendance code to reflect this, which will not count against their attendance. Children whose classes are in that day will be expected to attend as normal, and will be marked as unauthorised if they are not in. We will follow up any absences in the usual way if we do not hear from parents.
For the children entitled to benefits related free school meals who are not in that day, a grab bag will be sent home on Tuesday.
