Marland Hill Community Primary School

Together we will achieve more!

Community and Family Support

In response to Parental requests for structured Sure Start activities to be held here at Marland Hill we can confirm we currently have the following sessions:

Early Help Assessment (EHA)

Every family is unique, and everyone can experience problems that are difficult to deal without support. We can help you get the right support by completing an Early Help Assessment (EHA).

The EHA process is a way of offering support to your family when you need it. Professionals will work together with you and your family to prevent problems from getting worse.

The EHA is a voluntary process; you and your family choose to be involved in the process and can withdraw consent at any time. It involves completing an assessment with you and members of your family to find out what your problems are and decide on what help is needed. It is then shared with different professionals who can offer support. An action plan will be made and you'll agree the next steps and actions with the professionals who are part of the process. These are then reviewed every six weeks.

Ask Becky Knox our school based family support worker how an Early Help Assessment might be able to support your family.
