Please could we ask if anyone is a childminder or may know of anyone, for them to contact school so we could pass their details on please as we have parents who are in need of after school childcare.

As part of our science unit on habitats, Year 2 have been learning out microhabitats. We went around the school grounds looking for different microhabitats and the minibeasts which live there.
Nursery children have been learning about the Gingerbread Man. They have retold the story, made gingerbread men, decorated them and have done dotty gingerbread men paintings. We've had lots of fun!!
This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Thank you for your continued support.

KS2 children have been set a homework challenge linked to the World Cup. Children need to complete research on either: a country taking part or a footballer who is playing in the World Cup. The work can be presented in whatever way the children prefer e.g. a fact file or a piece of artwork. The first 30 children to complete the homework challenge will get a book called 'Football School: Star Players'. Homework needs to be handed in to Miss Bingham.
The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!
