  • Online Safety

    Thu 28 Feb 2019

As you know at Marland Hill we have a strong focus on working in partnership with you to keep our children safe. Earlier this month specific and age appropriate work took place across the school during the national ‘Safer Internet Day’ to support the work we do to educate our children on how to keep safe online.

As you will no doubt be aware there has been specific media attention this week around online safety for children.

To allow us to work in partnership we have sent some further supportive information home on 28th February, which we hope may be of help to you all. Please see below for details.

Should you require any further support or just want a chat, please do not hesitate to contact school.

Our Year 1 children are visiting Knowsley Safari Park on Friday 22nd March. Children will be provided with a packed lunch from school. If you prefer to provide your child with a packed lunch from home please ensure it is healthy (no fizzy drinks or chocolate) and is in a plastic bag labelled with your child’s name. Please ensure your child is in school for 8.45am as the coach will be leaving promptly. Children will return to school at 3.15pm, traffic dependent.  The trip costs £15 per child and promises to be a fun day out for the children, who are currently studying 'Animals including Humans' as their topic for this term.  If you haven't received a letter about the trip, please call into the school office for a copy or download from this website from the 'Letters Home' page.   Any payments or permission slips not yet returned should be sent in to school no later than Thursday 21st March.
