  Our final week of term has been very festive and busy.  Yesterday we all enjoyed our Christmas lunch, wearing our Christmas jumpers!  Today we had our 'Singing Around The Tree' concert and our children enjoyed their Christmas parties. 

   

  We were also very grateful to receive a visit from H. Bells this week, who kindly donated chocolate selection boxes for the children.  Many thanks to them!

  Our PTA Christmas Raffle tickets are on sale at tuck shop for KS2 pupils from Monday 3^rd December at 25p per ticket or £1 a strip. For EYFS/KS1 students a pink envelope for raffle money will be sent home to be returned to school with your name on. Raffle tickets will be given to children and entered into the draw.  This year's star prize is a choice between a Laptop, a PS4 or a Tablet.  Good luck everybody!

   

  

• Rochdale Hornet's Colouring Competition

  Thank you for all the fantastic entries into the Rochdale hornets colouring competition. We had three winners: Aizah Sohail won first prize winning a Hornets kit. Malaika Sohail and Riley Welsh Stott both won a rugby ball for their entries. Well done everyone!

• Lost Property

  Our PTA will be holding a lost property stall in the school hall next Thursday 20th December.  Please come along and have a rummage if your child has any missing items.  We will need to dispose of anything not collected.  Thank you.

  

• Singing Around The Tree

  Parents and carers are invited to join us next Friday 21st December for our annual 'Singing Around The Tree' event!  Starting at 9:15am in the school hall, parents are welcome to join us in our festive singalong.  Tickets are limited in number and are restricted to 2 per family.  They will be available from the school office from  Monday 17th December.  We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for our last celebration of 2018!

  

• Christmas Fair

  Our Christmas Fair was an outstanding success.  The PTA worked tirelessly arranging and organising a superb event. The total amount raised will be published next week.  Well done to our raffle winners who won some amazing prizes, and thank you to our parents and carers for all your donations of chocolate, bottles and toys for our stalls.  We even had a visit from Santa to make the day complete!  Thank you everybody for your fabulous support.

   

  

• Colouring Competition!

  Your children will be bringing home a colouring sheet this week.  We are hoping as many children as possible will take part in a 'design a rugby ball' competition, which has been organised by the Rochdale Hornets!  There are some fabulous prizes to be won, and the more entries we receive, the more chance we have of winning a prize for our school!  The closing date for entries is Wednesday 12th December, so please return all entries to school by 9am that day, to ensure we can submit them in time.  Good luck everybody. Lets get creative!
