  • Rochdale Additional Needs Service

    If your child has an additional need please consider adding their names to Rochdale’s disability register. If you are eligible you will receive a Max card which entitles your family to discounts at venues across the UK. Please go to ourrochdale.org.uk/disabilityregister.

    Please also find information below regarding a Coffee Morning & Afternoon drop-in, for parents of children with Autism.  This is organised and run by Rochdale Additional Needs Service, and gives parents the opportunity to meet other parents of children with similar needs.

     

  • All Stars Cricket Club

    All Stars Cricket is an introduction to the cricket programme aimed at 5-8 year olds and delivered at cricket clubs locally.   • Year 5 Birth Certificates

    As part of the Standard Assessment Test’s in Year 6 we are required to provide the Department for Education with the full legal name of children. Please ensure you have provided the school office with your child’s birth certificate, so we can ensure the our information is correct. Thank you to all our parents & carers who have already sent them into school.

     

  • Reading University

    Letters have been sent home this week with our Year 4 Reading University pupils regarding a poetry reading event at Smallbridge Library on Monday 29th April.  The poet, Mr Ian Bland will be reading to them and selling books.  The letter is also available to download from our website 'Letters Home' section.  Thank you.
  • Year 3 Raft Building

    Fri 26 Apr 2019

    Over the next half term our Year 3 students will be taking part in  Raft Building at Hollingworth Lake. Children will be split into groups and will go on one Friday afternoon between 26th April and 31st May. Children will need to bring a towel, dry underwear and shoes which can get wet for example an old pair of shoes or trainers (No Wellies). Parents will be notified what date children will attend. Please ensure you have returned the permission slip and £5 towards to the cost of the activity and transport.

     

  • New Summer Term After School Clubs

    We still have many places left in our after school sports clubs for the new term.  

    The new schedule starts on the first week back after the Easter holidays, and will be running on the following days:

    Tuesday       Multi Sports    Year 1 and 2

    Thursday      Gymnastics      Reception

    Friday         Team Games     Years 3-6

    If you would like to secure a place for your child, there is still time, please return the permission slip to school.  The cost of each club is £1 per week, £11 for the term.

     

  • Head Lice Reminder

    Please may we remind parents to check their children’s heads regularly for head lice.  We have had an increasing number of cases reported in school recently.  Please check your child’s hair during the  school holidays, and get them treated before the return to school on 23rd April.  Thanks for your co-operation.
