  A reminder that when dropping off your child in the mornings to please walk them directly to their class door as a number of children are going to the class door alone. Thank you for your understanding.

  Unfortunately Year 2 bubble is currently closed up to and including today. We are happy they can return to school as soon as possible. More information will follow.

  Year 5 and Year 6 bubbles have ended today and will return to school dinners from Monday 31st January. If you wish for your child to return to having a school dinner you must email the school with your child’s name: office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk by today.   We have as a school raised an amazing £223.36 for Springhill Hospice as part of 'Christmas Jumper' day. Thank you so much to everyone who donated - it was very much appreciated by Springhill. 

  

• Starbooks Reading Challenge

  We are launching a new initiative to encourage your child to read at home regularly and read for pleasure.

  We would like your help with this!

  Each week the children will be set reading challenges by their class teacher.  This might be to get their reading record signed by an adult at home or to change their library book. If your child completes the challenges then they will be entered into a draw for Star Reader.

  Every Friday the Star Reader gets to go to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library and have a drink and a biscuit as their reward.
