On Wednesday 13th December, we held the ‘Gymnast Superstar’ event between Springside and Marland Hill pupils. Children from year 2 showed their skills being supported by UKS2 Sport Leaders. All the children enjoyed the event, and thanks go to Mr Pauley for all his hard work in arranging the event.
Our annual 'singing around the tree' assembly will be taking place on Wednesday 20th December (our last day of term) at 9:00am. Tickets to this lovely event are available from the school office on a first come, first served basis and are limited.
On Monday 4th December, Lower Key Stage 2 entered the IPLCN Football competition. The children were excellent and returned home champions. Great achievement for all the children involved.
This week the whole school have visited the pantomime at Middleton Arena to watch Sleeping Beauty. We also had some lucky children make it on stage to be part of the act.
On Sunday 3rd December Y6 pupils took part in the Rochdale Music Service Christmas Cracker Concert alongside 120 children from other primary schools in rochdale. It was a fantastic festive event held at Gracie Fields Theatre, with an audience of around 200 parents and family members. The children did us proud!
