  • Children In Need Day

    Thank you to everyone who joined in with our Children In Need non uniform day.  We raised a fantastic £319.50 for the charity. Thank you all!
  • Christmas Jumper Day

    It is our Christmas Jumper day on Monday 18th December. Children can wear a Christmas themed jumper instead of their school jumper, along with normal school uniform. Thank you for your co-operation.
  • Christmas Party Day

    Fri 15 Dec 2017
    We will be having our Christmas parties on Wednesday 20th December, our last day of term. Children are welcome to bring their party clothes into school in a bag on the day and they can get changed at lunchtime. Please ensure your child's name is on the bag and on the clothes. Thank you!
  • Gymnastics Superstars Event

    On Wednesday 13th December, we held the ‘Gymnast Superstar’ event between Springside and Marland Hill pupils. Children from year 2 showed their skills being supported by UKS2 Sport Leaders. All the children enjoyed the event, and thanks go to Mr Pauley for all his hard work in arranging the event.

     

  • Annual Singing Around the Tree

    Our annual 'singing around the tree' assembly will be taking place on Wednesday 20th December (our last day of term) at 9:00am.  Tickets to this lovely event are available from the school office on a first come, first served basis and are limited.

     

  • Christmas Fair

    Come along to our school Christmas Fair on Thursday 14th December from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. There will be games, stalls, and a cafe, as well as raffles and tombola. All welcome!
  • Inter-School Football Tournament

    On Monday 4th December, Lower Key Stage 2 entered the IPLCN Football competition. The children were excellent and returned home champions. Great achievement for all the children involved.

     

  • Christmas Pantomime - Sleeping Beauty

    This week the whole school have visited the pantomime at Middleton Arena to watch Sleeping Beauty. We also had some lucky children make it on stage to be part of the act.

     

  • Rochdale Music Service Christmas Cracker Concert

    On Sunday 3rd December Y6 pupils took part in the Rochdale Music Service Christmas Cracker Concert alongside 120 children from other primary schools in rochdale. It was a fantastic festive event held at Gracie Fields Theatre, with an audience of around 200 parents and family members. The children did us proud!
