  • Parents Meetings

    Letters are coming home this week regarding Parents Meetings. Please ensure you have returned your parents meeting reply slip so we can provide you with a time to meet your child’s teacher. This meeting will enable you to work in partnership with us to support your child’s learning outside of school and discuss your child’s progress. Thank you. 

     

  • PTA Meetings

    Our Parent Teachers Association are meeting at school every Tuesday from 9-10am. The PTA are a group of volunteer parents who help organise events and  fundraise for School. If you would like to help please feel free to come to the next meeting on 27th February at 9am. Thank you. For your continued support.

     

  • World Book Day

    World Book Day this year will take place on Thursday 1st March. Our focus as a school is on developing the children’s awareness of authors. Each year group has chosen a specific author and on this day will be completing work based on a chosen text. On the day there will be an opportunity to sit with others and share their chosen book. By doing this we are hoping to further encourage a love of reading and we will make time for children to share their books with each other. 
  • Community Cohesion

    Earlier this week our Community Cohesion Ambassadors went to Hamer Primary School and took part in an interactive workshop with colleagues from the Youth Team. They worked with their peers from Hamer to reflect on how to improve Rochdale. All of our Ambassadors were an absolute credit to their parents/carers and our school!

     

  • Lost Property

    Yet again this is growing!  Please can all parents ensure their child's clothing is clearly named.  Anything that has not been collected by the end of this half term will have to be disposed of. Thank you for your co-operation.
  • Anti-social Behaviour on School Premises

    Please be reminded that anti-social behaviour will  not be tolerated on school premises. As a school, we take the safety of all our stakeholders extremely seriously and will not tolerate inappropriate behaviours, comments or actions.  Thank you for working in partnership with us to keep everyone safe.
  • Parent Drop In

    Please don't forget our Parent drop in session on Tuesday 6th February at 9am.  Mrs Cunningham will be holding the event for any parents who would like to come along.  At our last parent drop in, many parents expressed an interest in becoming more involved with school life.  If you are interested in becoming part of the PTA, please do attend.
  • IPLCN Girls Football Competition

    Well done to all our girls who participated in the above competition on Thursday 1st February. the children had an amazing time and came away as champions.  The children were a huge credit to the school.  Well done girls!
  • Year 6 CGP Books

    Study books and practice papers are currently available from the school office for Y6 pupils, at the discounted price of £3 each.
