  • National 'Clap for Carers' Campaign

    Thu 16 Apr 2020

Hello everybody We hope you had a lovely Easter weekend and you are all enjoying the sunshine safely.  Today is Thursday, which has become our ‘National Clap for Carers’ day, during this crisis.  As a school we think it is important to recognise the importance of our NHS staff and ‘key workers’ at this time.  People who are putting themselves at risk for the sake of others, and to keep the country going during very difficult circumstances.  Please can we encourage you all to take part in the 8pm ‘Clap for Carers’, in appreciation of all those people who are making their own personal sacrifice at the moment to support us all. If your children are still awake, please get them involved too!

8pm - Clap for Carers Thursday 16th April, and every Thursday until further notice.  Thanks everybody!

  • Learning at Home

    Tue 07 Apr 2020

As we are still unsure on a date for returning to school we are looking at different ways to support your child with learning at home. From 27th April 2020 all teachers will be putting specific learning tasks on Education City linked to your childs year group curriculum.

Tasks for Maths and English will be set across the course of the week, and additional tasks linked to other foundation subjects may also be added as and when appropriate. It is important that you encourage your child to complete these tasks where possible. All children were sent home with their login details and passwords prior to school closing.

Thank you for your continued support.
