• Year 5 Ordsall Hall Museum

  As part of their History topic, Year 5 will be visiting the Ordsall Hall Museum on the following dates:

   

  · Year 5A Miss Hughes: Monday 2^nd June 2025

  · Year 5B Miss Rainbow: Wednesday 4^th June 2025

   

  Please go to Parent Mail and complete the consent form (found in the forms section) and please pay for the visit (payments/then shop). Thank you.

   

  Due to a severe nut allergy those children who are bringing in a packed lunch please can you ensure your child has no nuts in their packed lunch. Thank you.

   

• HIRB English Lessons

  The children in the HIRB wrote some lovely stories in their English lessons this half term. They wrote in the style of the well-loved story, Handa’s Surprise, which is based on a little girl in Africa who carries a fruit basket for her friend Akeyo. Along her journey, some animals take the fruit one by one.

   

  The children chose their own animals and fruit for their own stories, and used amazing descriptive sentences to describe them.

   

  Once they completed their stories, they read them to the Nursery children and did so with full enthusiasm. It was lovely for all staff and children to be a part of!

   

  

• Weekly Attendance Winners

  This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

• After school clubs

  Due to the summer fair taking place there will be no after school clubs on Wednesday 3rd June. Thank you.

   

• Eid Parties

  Fri 23 May 2025

  On Thursday 5th June we will be having our  Eid     Parties. Children will be able to wear their Eid   Party clothes.

  We look forward to seeing everyone in their Eid clothes!

   

   

• Year 6 Leavers’ Hoodies

  Fri 23 May 2025

  If you would like to order a hoodie for your child you must complete the consent form and pay on Parent Mail no later than Thursday 5^th June. (The form can be found in the forms section and to pay please go to payment section/then shop)

   

   

  Hoodies will be distributed on Friday 4^th July and can be worn for school, along with uniform, until the end of term. The cost to order a hoodie is £10, or £12.50 if an adult size is ordered due to the increased cost to school.
