• No Dogs

  Fri 19 May 2023

  Please note that dogs are not allowed on the school premises. Even if they are on a lead or are being carried, they must not be brought onto the school grounds. This is to ensure the safety of the children.

   

  

• Children’s Champions

  Fri 19 May 2023

  Muizz Hussain has taken part in the Children’s Champion process and has successfully been shortlisted to represent Rochdale and the Pennines. He has made the final 12, out of 124 applications! He is currently filming a 1 minute campaign to encourage children to vote for him. We are extremely proud of him and hope that he can become the overall Children’s Champion.

• Weekly 100% Attendance Awards

  This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

• Nursery Places

  We still have places available in our nursery for September. If you are interested then please pick up an application form from the office. You will need to bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of address along with the completed application form. Thank you.

   

• School Dinners

  A reminder that meal patterns are set per half term and cannot be swapped in between. If you wish for your child’s meal pattern to change after the May half term you must inform school: office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk no later than Friday 26th May. Thank you.

   

• Starbooks Reader– Winners!

  Fri 19 May 2023

  The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

   

  We would like to give Sumaiya, Abeera, Muhammed, Ali & Adam from Year 5B a special mention as they all read 7 times or more at home this week, which is amazing!   Also to Miss Bingham’s class, who all completed the challenge.
