Well done to George and Jessica for being chosen as Breakfast Club Superstars!
It is vital that children arrive on time as we have to start the SATS tests on time each day. To assist with children being in on time we are once again offering free breakfast club for Year 6 during the week of SATS.
Children can be dropped off at the main office from 8am onwards and be provided with breakfast free of charge.
The next reading workshop will be as follows:
· Friday 16th May - Year 2
· Friday 23rd May - Year 1
They will be taking place in the school hall 2.30pm-3pm.
Tea/Coffee will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please be aware that these will now take place on a Friday at 2.30pm.
Year 2 have continued to impress us all year and have been working very hard.
In the Spring term we had a Geography focus, learning all about Amazing Africa! We compared Nairobi and Kenya and learnt about the Masai Tribe and how they live. The children really enjoyed crafting their own Masai beaded necklaces and naming the continents with the continents song.
This half term in History we will be learning about how significant women changed history, focusing on Rosa Parks and Malala Yousafzai. The children brought in some amazing homework that staff were very impressed with. In English, year 2 have already started writing recounts on their important stories.
