FREE Summer Reading Challenge at the library!
You can make a huge difference by encouraging your pupils to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge. It’s the UK’s biggest reading for pleasure programme for children aged 4 to 11, delivered via public libraries. Children can sign up for free at their local library or online.
How it works:
· Children can sign up at their local library, where they will receive a special sticker booklet.
· They set a summer reading goal and choose books, eBooks, or audiobooks of their choice – logging their reading will earn sticker rewards.
· Libraries will be running a programme of free themed events and activities this summer!
· Children who complete the Challenge are presented with a certificate. You could organise a special assembly to present the certificates in the new term.
Children can take part online if they prefer! www.summerreadingchallenge.org.uk

The nursery children have had great fun this week learning how to ride our new balance bikes. They have learnt how to pick them up and get on them safely, they have learnt how to ride them and glide with them and how important it is to wear a helmet when riding a bike. They have all done a super job.
Well done to Safa for creating a fantastic model of a Volcano as apart of her Geography homework!
