The next Eco Shop will be as follows:
· Tuesday 27th January for parents/carers
· Wednesday 28th January for staff
Well done to Samrah & Zayaan for being chosen as Breakfast Club Superstars!
As part of their History topic, Year 4 will be having a visit from the Balestra Living History Project who will be doing a workshop named: The Roman Britain Primary History workshop. This will take place on Tuesday 10th February. This is an exciting opportunity for the children.
On the day the children will be taking part in different workshops led by a Roman expert. They will have the chance to handle Roman artefacts and will be trained like Roman soldiers. The children will have the opportunity to use equipment to create different army formations. The children will also create an interactive timeline. This will be a full day workshop. For more information please visit: www.romanschoolworkshop.co.uk
School will be heavily subsiding the cost, we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £4. You can pay for this on parent mail by going to payments/shop.
Please can we remind parents/carers to please be careful when parking and driving around school. Please be mindful about not blocking local residents’ driveways.
Thank you for your continued support.
We still have places for the KS2 Choir on Thursdays until 4pm. Places are free. If you are interested you can email school: office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk.
Thank you.
Congratulations to Miss Hughes, who has given birth to a baby boy over the Christmas Holidays. They are both doing well.
