  • Year 4 Visit to Spotland Library

    Fri 11 Oct 2024

Year 4 had a great time visiting Spotland Library this week. The librarian gave us a short tour of the library, explaining how the books are organised.  The children really enjoyed sharing their love of reading with their friends and teachers.

As the children were really keen to join the library themselves, we were given membership forms to share with parents. We were also told that you can borrow or reserve eBooks and eAudiobooks using your online library account! The children have all borrowed a book of their choice to take away and read in their spare time.

These pages aim to give you information about key aspects of school, or your child’s development, to support you further at home. If you have any ideas as to what you would like to be included please let us know. We are obviously still available to be contacted at school if you wish to discuss anything about your child in further detail.

Children will be walking to the    museum and back with members of school staff, so please ensure your child wears their school uniform and a suitable coat, hat, shoes etc according to the weather.
