Welcome back to a new school year! I hope you all have managed to have a lovely summer and are ready for the new school year. We understand that you may be feeling anxious about coming back, but just to reassure you all that we will do our best to continue to meet your child’s needs. Welcome back! It is lovely to see you all back and welcome to all new children, we looking forward to getting to know you!
You will all have been contacted with regards to whether your child would like to be on school dinners or a packed lunch. Thank you to those who have let school know your child’s arrangement. Meal patterns can only be changed per half term. Please adhere to these. School meals are £2.65 day. Please check and pay on Parent Mail. Thank you.
Please check Parent Mail on a regular basis for the latest news and information. Dinner money is paid on Parent Mail as well as important forms being shared.

We are looking to possibly arrange some Brass Music Lessons, which will take place on Friday morning in assembly time: 8:45am-9:45am. If your child would be interested in having some Brass Music lessons then please kindly email the school; office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk expressing your interest. Thank you.

Please ensure that an adult brings your child to school and waits with them until they go into school. Thank you for your patience and continued support.
After School Clubs will be starting next week.
A letter has been sent out. We still have places available. If you wish to book and reserve a place, please go to Parent Mail in the payment section to book a place. The cost is £6 and must be paid in advance. Places are on a first come first served basis. The after school clubs are as follows:
Monday: Year 3 and Year 4
Tuesday Fitness Club: KS2
Thursday: Year 1 and Year 2
Friday: Year 5 and Year 6
The after school clubs will take place 3pm-4pm. Please pick your child up at 4pm promptly from the school office. Year 6 children will need to be collected, even if they have permission to walk home. Please ensure an adult (aged 18 years or over) picks your child up and that they are on your child’s pick up list. Thank you for you continued support.
