Children are not permitted to play on the school grounds after school finishes. Children have been seen playing in the car park and hiding behind cars. The safety of all children within this school is important to us and we do not want children to get hurt playing where they are not allowed.
The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

In the reception area, we have a book shelf filled with books for all ages across the school.
Please feel free to come and borrow a book to read at home and then swap it for another when you have finished.
Happy reading!
If you have any books in good condition at home that you would like to donate, please bring them to the school office and we will add them to our Borrow a Book shelf.
After a thorough inspection this week, we are pleased to share with you that our kitchen has maintained their food hygiene rating of 5.
Thank you to each and every one of you that helped us to raise money during our fundraising events.
Thank you for your kind donations. We are pleased to say that we were able to raise £533.05!
This will be split between the following charities:
Milly’s Smile
Springhill Hospice
McMillan
Every penny will be used to support them.
Thank you once again!
Thank you to all parents/carers for attending the Y5 reading morning, it was lovely to see you all.
The upcoming dates are as follows:
· Tuesday 10th October – Year 4
· Tuesday 17th October – Year 3
Sessions will run 9.00am-9.30am. Tea/coffee will be provided. As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.
A reminder to please ensure that you complete your child’s data collection form and return to school as soon as possible. It is important that school has your child’s most up to date information. Thank you for your continued support.
