After School Clubs
Fri 10 Jun 2022Unfortunately the after school clubs for years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are now full. We have a few places left for reception, year 1 and 2 on Thursdays. If you are interested then please go to parent mail, then shop to book a place. Thank you.

Nursery Reading Books
Fri 10 Jun 2022The children in nursery are going to be given a library book to take home. it will be handed out on Wednesday and must be returned to school by Monday at the latest for the book to be changed ready for the next Wednesday.

Important Information regarding Attendance
Fri 10 Jun 2022As a whole school we are continuing to focus on good attendance. All children who have 100% attendance for the Summer term will receive a certificate and a 100% attendance badge at the end of this term.
Attendance at school is important to support your child’s education and learning and frequent absences from school can cause children to fall behind and miss vital learning opportunities. All About Bees!
Wed 08 Jun 2022This week in Topic, reception children have been learning all about Bees. They have learnt lots of interesting facts about Bees in the environment. The children have been very intrigued about discovering the process of how honey is produced.
They had a lovely surprise from Mrs Woodland who had very kindly showed us some pictures of Bees making honey in their hive and also she dressed up as a Bee keeper. The children were overjoyed and gathered around Mrs Woodland as she showed them the smoke box, which is used to calm the Bees down., they enjoyed touching the bee suit and seeing how it would protect a person from bee’s.

1. How many wings does a bee have?
2. How many legs does a bee have?
3. Do bee’s always sting?
4. What do bee’s get from flowers that they pass onto other flowers to help them grow?"
