Year 4 will be going on a walk to Rochdale week commencing 17th April. This is part of their Geography studies and the children will be looking at human and physical geographical features.
We will confirm via text message that week which day they are going, as it will be depending on the weather.

Mr Rigg will be running a coding club every Tuesday after Easter for our Y5 & 6 children.
Sessions will run until 4.15pm for the 6 weeks up until the May half-term.
The children will complete a project using Scratch which is linked to the learning they have been doing in French this term.

A reminder that we break up for the Easter holidays next Friday 31st March and return to school on Monday 17th April.
Thank you to everyone who donated for our non uniform Red Nose Day! The children were allowed to dress in red for the day.
Next week children will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for our Easter Egg raffle. Tickets will be sold to the children in class for £1 per strip and tickets will be drawn next Friday.
After School Sport's Clubs will continue after the Easter holidays and will be for the rest of the summer term. Please see ParentMail as these will be open for bookings early next week.

School Council are hosting an Egg-Mobile Competition.
Your challenge is to create a 'vehicle' that can transport an egg down a ramp and travel as far as possible.
Only recycled materials can be used to create your egg-mobile.
Prizes will be awarded for the egg-mobile that travels the furthest in KS1, LKS2, UKS2 and the best design from KS1, LKS2, UKS2 with a nature theme.
Bring in your egg-mobiles ready to race by Thursday 30th March.
