• Year 6 Cinema Visit

  Year 6 children will be visiting the cinema as part of their seasonal celebrations to watch Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on Thursday 17th November at 1pm.

• Year 6 Reading Workshop

  The Year 6 staff would like to invite parents to attend a reading session in school to share a book with your Year 6 child on Monday 14th November from 9.00-9.30am in the School Hall. As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.

   

• World Nursery Rhyme Week

  World Nursery Rhyme week is from the 14th to the 18^th November. Our children in Nursery and Reception will be doing lots of activities linked to a selection of nursery rhymes. 

   

  

• Remembrance Day- Friday 11th November.

  Remembrance Day will be Friday 11^th November. Poppies will be available in school to buy, any donation is welcome. Please ask your child to take their donations to their class teacher. Thank you.

   

  

• Children In Need- Friday 18th November

  Children In Need this year will be on Friday 18th November. We invite children and staff to come in wearing  spots/ pyjamas. We are asking for £1 per child donation which is to be given to the class teacher on the day. Thank you.

   

   

  

• After school clubs

  Unfortunately the after school clubs window to book a place is now closed. A reminder that there will be no after school clubs on this week due to parents’ meetings taking place, including flute lessons, Samba band, Choir and Art club. Thank you.

   

• Parent's Meetings

  A reminder that this year we will be doing parent meetings face to face. You will need to go to School Cloud to book appointments. All  meetings will be held in the hall, and each appointment will last no longer than 10 minutes. The parent’s meetings dates are as follows:

   

  Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, Miss Wright (5A), Mr Rimmer (4B):

  Monday 7^th November and Tuesday 8^th November.

   

  Year 3, 4, 5 and 6: Wednesday 9^th November and Thursday 10^th November.  On Thursday 10th November the School Nurse will be running a drop-in Asthma clinic at parents meetings.
