As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.
This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Thank you for your continued support.
The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!
The children really enjoyed their Christmas dinner and grab bags this week. Thank you so much to all the kitchen staff for working so hard to make it extra special.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered the Winter Art Competition. We were blown away by the number of entries and the artistic talent; judging was really tricky! Thank you also to the School Council for their hard work in promoting the competition and assisting with judging the artwork.
On Tuesday 13th December we will be holding a Christmas Fair after school in the school hall. There will be a variety of stalls available including chocolate tombola, bottle raffle, biscuit decorating, face painting, Henna painting, book swap, Splat the Rat and much more. Please come along, we look forward to seeing you!
