• Year 5A: Miss Wright’s Swimming

  Year 5A Miss Wright’s class will be starting swimming lessons on Tuesday 7th February until Tuesday 11th July.

  Year 5B Miss Clarke’s class will still be taking part in swimming lessons until Tuesday 31st January.

   

• Reading Workshops

  Following the success of last term’s workshops we will be inviting parents in again this term to promote the benefits of positive reading with your child. Parents/carers are invited to attend, tea/coffee will be provided. The dates are as follows:

   

  Monday 9^th Jan – Year 6

  Monday 16^th Jan – Year 5

  Monday 23^rd Jan – Year 4

  Monday 6^th Feb – Year 3

   

  Sessions will run 9.00am-9.30am.

   

  As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.

   

• Weekly 100% Attendance

  This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

   

   

   

   

  

• After School Clubs: Spring Term 2023

  A reminder that After School Clubs will be starting again in the Spring Term, week commencing Monday 9th January. They will be as follows:

  Please note that Tuesday and Thursday clubs are full. If you wish for your child to be placed on the waiting list please contact the school office.

   You will need to go to Parent Mail to book, pay and reserve a place. Places are limited and are on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested then please go to payments, then shop, to book.

   Please be aware the window to book a place closes on Friday 6th January. After this date you will not be able to book a place.

• Recorder After School Club Tuesday

  We still have spaces for the KS2 recorder club which will be after school every Tuesday starting on the 10th January between 3.05pm and 3.50pm. There is no charge for this club but you will need to book via ParentMail.

• Christmas Fair!

  Thank you to everyone who came to the Christmas Fair this week, we made over £1200, thanks to everybody for supporting our school. Logan in Reception won the Echo Dot kids plus gloves and Champions League ball at the Christmas Fair and Savannah and Hamza won the Name The Teddy competition.
