  • Recorders: KS2

    We still have a few places available for recorders after school lessons for Key Stage 2 Children. These will start from Tuesday 31st October up until Tuesday 12th December, and will be every Tuesday after school from 3.10pm-3.50pm.

     

    If you are interested in a place for your child:

    You will need to log into Parent Mail in order to book. Please go to payments/shop/add to basket at £0 cost.

    The cost is £24, and will run every Monday from 3.15pm-3.45pm.

  • Starbook Reader - Winners!

    The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

    An extra Well Done to Miss Green’s class for their massive improvement in completing the Starbooks challenge, with nearly everyone completing it this week!

    Also, a big Well Done to the rest of 5B too because EVERYONE got their records signed this week, meaning 5B got their extra break this week!

  • Year 4 Linking Project

    The Year 4 Linking project will be taking place as follows:

     Mr Rimmer’s class will go on Wednesday 22nd November and Miss Wright’s class will go on Tuesday 28th November .

  • School Dinners

    Please ensure that dinner monies are up to date and that there are no outstanding balances on your child’s account. Thank you.

     

    A reminder that meal patterns are set per half term and cannot be swapped or changed in between.

     

    If you wish for your child’s meal pattern to change after half term then you must email the school : office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk no later than today.

     

  • Reading Workshops

    · Year 6: Tuesday 7th November

     

  • Pumpkin Competition

    Fri 20 Oct 2023

    We are holding a design a pumpkin competition.

     

    To enter you will need to design or create a pumpkin using arts/craft materials and bring this in to school on Monday 30th October.

    Please do not send real pumpkins in to school.

    The cost to enter is 50p.

    There will be one winner from each class and these will be voted by our School Council.

    Good luck to all who enter, we can’ t wait to see your spooktastic creations!
