In maths the children have been learning about how to match and sort they have also started to learn about the numbers 1 and 2. We have been singing lots of songs and reading lots of stories linked to these topics. The children have been accessing home learning and have been able to practise their new skills at home.

We have also been learning about the festival of Dwali, we found out that it is a festival of light. Hindu's celebrate the festival by decorating the house with lots of light, wearing new clothes and giving gifts. • Sickness School Policy -

    Fri 17 Nov 2023

If your child is unwell please contact the school office as soon as possible to inform us of their illness. There are 3 ways you can let us know-

    Parentmail

    Email - office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk

    Telephone 01706 647147 option 1

Please can we also remind parents that if your child has any sickness or diarrhoea then the guidance from Public Health England is that children have to stay off school for a clear 48 hours from their last bout. I am sure you will agree we need to ensure that this managed to prevent this spreading further. If your child has been sick or has diarrhoea do not send them into school.

Thank you for your continued support.
