Year 1 Manchester Museum of Transport
Fri 12 Jan 2024Year 1 will be visiting the Manchester Museum of
Transport, this is linked to their topic work on the
history of transport. Children will be going on
Wednesday 24th January.
The cost of the trip will be £8. This is a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the visit and transport, however if there is not enough money collected the visit will be cancelled. The cost of the visit has been subsidised by school.

Weekly Attendance Winners
Fri 12 Jan 2024This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Reading Workshops
Fri 12 Jan 2024This term the reading workshops will be as follows:
· Tuesday 16th January – Year 2
· Tuesday 23rd January—Year 1
Sessions will run 9.00am-9.30am. Tea/coffee will be provided. As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.

Winter Art Competition
