Please can parents/carers ensure that their child wears the correct information to school and that it is clearly labelled with their name on. Thank you.
This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Thank you for your continued support.
From September 2024, attendance at school is a big focus nationally, and our Attendance Policy will reflect this. Please continue to support your child’s education by ensuring they are in school on time and every day.
Our School has a healthy eating approach, which promotes food such as fruit and vegetables and discourages the consumption of foods such as crisps and sweets. Please can we remind parents/carers that cold pizza, fish fingers or burgers are not allowed and that all food should be nut free. Please see our most recent healthy schools certificate at the back of our newsletter. Thank You.
A reminder that meal patterns are set per half term and cannot be swapped or changed in between. School dinners are £3.00 per day.
If you child requires medication in school please ensure that the medicine is in date. If you child requires an epipen two must be in school at all times.
We will message to let you know when your medication is close to it’s expiration date.
If we do not have inhalers, epipens or anti allergy medicine in school, your child will not be allowed in school until they do so and the absence will be unauthorised.
If your child no longer requires medication please can you email the school at office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk to let us know.
Thank you
