Year 1 will be going to Tommy Tumble Town Role Play Centre this will now be on Monday 20th October. This is a fantastic opportunity for the children to explore around their topic of toys. Children will be travelling to and from the venue via coach with members of staff from school. Children will have grab bags on the day.
School is heavily subsiding the cost of this visit, we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £10. If we do not receive sufficient funds the visit will be cancelled.

The Reception children have settled into their new classes really well. They have had lots of fun exploring the indoor and outdoor learning environments. They have especially enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen and making food from their experience. They have also loved the stage area, the sand tray and playing on the climbing frame. This is helping to develop their balance, coordination and gross motor skills.
The children have loved taking on the role of a shop assistant or a customer in the Marland Hill Supermarket. They have also enjoyed taking on different family roles in the home corner. Our first topic ‘All About Me’ has been wonderful for helping the staff to get to know the children. The children have enjoyed talking about their likes and dislikes and sharing pictures of their families with their teachers and friends.
