Marland Hill has a healthy eating approach, which promotes food such as fruit and vegetables and discourages the consumption of foods such as crisps and sweets. If your child brings in a packed lunch to school, please can you ensure that the healthy living approach is followed. Please can we remind parents not to put food that requires heating in packed lunches such as such burgers, chips etc. Thank you for your continued support.

Welcome to the following members of staff: Miss Hall (TA) based in KS1, Miss Scrivener (TA) based in Upper Key Stage 2 and Miss Gosling (Lunchtime Organiser). Over the holidays we said goodbye to Mrs Nazir (Teaching Assistant) who has got a new job, we wish her the best and thank her for all her hard work.
Councillor Rachel Massey has set up a uniform recycling project known as Uniform For All with the Coop and local Churches. The aim is to help parents who are struggling to afford school uniform, however we now see it as a way to help recycle and try and protect the environment from items being taken to landfill.
