Year 3 took part in a poetry workshop and wrote the following poem
Diversity
Differences
In all of us
Visible and invisible
Everyone is different
Religion, race, eye colour or hair
Similarities through differences
In our hearts
Things that make life interesting
You are unique like everyone else.
At Marland Hill, we are learning a new sign every week. Why not learn with us at home too!
British Sign Language BSL Video Dictionary - Happy Christmas
School Council are running a Christmas competition. They will be visiting classes to sell templates for the children to buy for £1. These will be sold until Tuesday 16th December. Entries must be returned to the class teacher by Wednesday 17th December. There will be a winner per key stage and winners will be announced on Friday 19th December.
Nursery had a very exciting zoom meeting today. We actually got through to the North Pole and spoke to Santa. He told us all about his reindeers and how he was making lots of toys. We even got to sing a song with him. How very exciting!!!
Well done to Usman & Amara for being chosen as Breakfast Club Superstars!
Below are the weekly attendance winners for each class. Please help support this achievement by reminding our winners and parents that they are to look after the prizes and they must be returned to school on Monday.
