• Door and Gates Closure

  Please note that the doors close at 9.05am every morning and the gates are shut and locked straight away for safeguarding reasons. If you arrive after this time please come to the main entrance.

   

• Design your own crown

  To celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee all the children have been asked to design and make their own Jubilee crown. There will be prizes for the best crown from each unit and this will be announced on Friday 27th of May.

   

• Swimming Achievements

• Queen Platinum Jubliee Lunch: Friday 27th May

  On Friday 27th May we will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in school by having a non uniform day. Children are invited to wear the colours red, white or blue.       We will also be having a special Queen’s Jubilee Lunch. For those children who already have a school dinner then a Jubilee lunch will be provided. Those children on packed lunches can also join in but parents will need to order a Jubilee lunch for their child by emailing the school office : office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk no later than Monday 16th May Payment of £2.40 can be made via Parentmail into your child’s dinner money account.     Queen’s Jubilee Special Packed Lunches         Key Stage 1: Butterfly shaped sandwiches Sandwich choice – Egg mayo, cheese, ham, turkey or tuna mayo       Key Stage 2: Small bread roll Sandwich choice – Egg mayo, cheese, ham, turkey or tuna mayo           Cheese & onion quiche & vegan sausage roll           Dessert:   Union Jack shortbread, mini bag of chocolate buttons, strawberry trifle with a choice of chocolate, banana or strawberry milkshake. This will all in a sandwich bag with a colouring sheet.
