  • Covid Extended List Symptoms Reminder

    A reminder of the revised guidance from Rochdale Local

    Authority, please find below a list of the extended Covid symptoms which will now require a PCR test to be taken at a local test site. You can arrange one by booking online:

    https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test

     

    More common symptoms are:

    fever

    a new and continuous cough

    shortness of breath

    fatigue

    loss of appetite

    anosmia (loss of smell)

    ageusia (loss of taste)

     

    Non-specific symptoms include:

    shortness of breath

    fatigue

    loss of appetite

    myalgia (muscle aches)

    sore throat

    headache

    nasal congestion

    diarrhoea

    nausea

    vomiting

     

     

    •  If your child displays any of these symptoms, our school office will  advise you to book a PCR test as advised by the Local Authority, your child will be able to return to school once a negative test result is received.

  • Relationship and Health Education [RHE] and Science Curriculum

    Dear Parents

     

    Over the next few weeks, the children in years 5 and 6 will be covering puberty, as part of their Relationship and Health Education [RHE] and science curriculum.

     

    The session will look at body parts, and the changes experienced during puberty, and will be delivered by school staff in single sex groups at an age appropriate level.

     

    If you have any concerns and wish to discuss this further, please contact Miss Bingham, UKS2 unit leader.
