  • Reading EYFS and Year 1

    Tue 14 Jan 2020

Over the last half term, in EYFS and Year 1, we have been embedding the Read Write Inc. Guided Reading scheme to run alongside our phonics sessions in school. Starting this week, your child will now bring home a weekly homework sheet linked to their current guided reading book.

This text will be very familiar to your child as we will have read it in school. In-order to support you child with their reading, please could you listen to your child read the story and then spend some time discussing the linked questions at the bottom of the sheet. The sheet does not need returning to school. These weekly homework sheets will be given in addition to your child's weekly home-school reading book.
