Children in Year 1 had a lovely time exploring their local area on Thursday. Their objective was to recognise human and physical features and it included a trip to the post office where they all posted a letter home to family.
Next weeks parents meetings will be as follows:
Mr Hudson (Year 4A) Thursday 24th March
Miss Clarke (Year 5B) Thursday 24th March.
Please go to School Cloud to book your appointment. https://marlandhill.schoolcloud.co.uk/ Appointments are limited to 10 minutes so please allow enough time to set up your device and log on. Thank you.
It is Comic Relief today! The children looked amazing in their ‘superhero’ costumes for Red Nose Day and their red clothes. Thank you so much for all your donations - we will update you on how much the school have raised in next week’s newsletter.
A polite reminder that we are a Healthy Eating School. If your child has a packed lunch then please ensure that the healthy eating approach is followed. The Eat Well Plate is a good guide. Please see Page 3 for more information. Thank you for your continued support.
Well done to Nevaeh and Millie for playing nicely with other children, being helpful, and showing lovely manners. Fantastic!
Springhill Hospice sent us their fundraising newsletter and we would like to share that all the local schools together raised a whopping £10,560.28 for our local charity. Well done everyone!
