Ibraheem in year 6 and Bia in year 4 were the two winners of the French World Cup Challenge. They had to translate some football related phrases from French into English and do some research about the French team at the World Cup. They each won a football and French book. All of the other entrants earned dojos for their work.
In Nursery the Elf has been up to all sorts of naughty adventures including messing up the home corner!

KS2 children have been set a homework challenge linked to the World Cup. Children need to complete research on either: a country taking part or a footballer who is playing in the World Cup. The work can be presented in whatever way the children prefer e.g. a fact file or a piece of artwork. The first 30 children to complete the homework challenge will get a book called 'Football School: Star Players'. Homework needs to be handed in to Miss Bingham.

Prizes available for 1st , 2nd and 3rd and all entries will be displayed at the Christmas Fair.
All entries must be made on a golden frame which can be purchased for 20p from a School Council Rep or Miss Miller.

The EYFS Pantomime—Story Magic took place yesterday whilst KS1 and year 3, 4 and 5 enjoyed the Pantomime. The children had so much fun!
Each day in December, the children will be opening a window on our advent calendar, which will contain a narrated festive story each day. Year 2 will also unwrap and read a book each day from their book advent calendar.
