  • PE Superstars

  • Starbooks Reader - Winners!

    The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

  • School Council Stalls

    School Council will be holding two stalls on Thursday 26th March 3-3.30pm. Both will be held on the playground, outside the MUGA.

     

    1. A Stationery Stall - children must be supervised by parents/carers. CASH ONLY, no refunds. This stall is to raise vital funds to make school improvements.  School Council would really appreciate your custom as they are working towards achieving their silver award this year. This is a fantastic opportunity for the children to develop their entrepreneurial skills.

     

    2. A Lost and Found Stall - an opportunity for you to claim any lost property for your child/children.

     

  • Easter Egg Competition

    Thu 19 Mar 2026

    School Council are running their annual  Easter competition over this term.

    They will be selling Easter Egg templates from Monday. 

    The children can design their egg as they wish, but MUST use the template bought.

    The closing date is Wednesday 1st April. 

    There will be prizes for each key stage!

  • Year 6 War Museum

    As part of their History topic, Year 6 have been learning about World War 2 and visited the    Imperial War Museum.

  • Raffle Tickets

    Tickets for our Easter raffle are now on sale, Tickets can be purchased from the office for £1 a strip (5 Tickets) or from the shop section on parentmail. The raffle will be drawn on Thursday 2nd April in school.

  • Year 4 Walk in Rochdale

    As part of their Geography fieldwork studies, Year 4 will be going on a walk to Rochdale on the following dates:

     

    · 4B Miss Shabir’s class will be going on Wednesday 1st April.

    · 4A Miss Ashraf’s class will be going on Thursday 2nd April.

     

    The children will be looking at human and physical geographical features in the local environment.

     

    Please can you ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the walk, including sensible shoes/ coat/ sunhat/ sun cream as appropriate for the weather on the day.

     

    Please go to Parent Mail to complete the consent form as soon as possible. (This can be found in the forms section)

  • Reception Smithills Farm

    A reminder that on Monday 30th March, our Reception classes will be visiting Smithills Farm in Bolton where they will be looking at animal families and the changes they go through as they grow. The children will have the opportunity to handle and feed many of the  animals and as a special treat they will be able to ride on a donkey and   travel around the farm on a tractor trailer.

     

    Please ensure your child comes to school in their normal school uniform, coat, hat, gloves and wellies in a separate carrier bag.
