  We will be having another Musical Assembly  taking place on Friday 4^th July at 9.10am - 10.10am. This will take place in the school hall.

• School Council

  School Council have created another handmade colouring book which is on sale. These are priced at £1 per booklet. If you wish to buy  please give money to your child to give to their class teacher.

   

  All proceeds will be going to Cancer Research.

• Year 4 local walk

  As part of their Geography fieldwork studies, Year 4 will be going on a walk to Rochdale on the following dates:

   

  · 4A Miss Ashraf’s class will be going on Monday 30^th June. 

  · 4B Miss Shabir’s class will be going on Thursday 10^th July. 

   

  The children will be looking at human and physical geographical features in the local environment.

• Year 6 Leavers’ Disco

  Fri 27 Jun 2025

  On Thursday 17^th July, we will be holding our annual  Year 6 Leavers’ Disco.  It will take place from 5.30pm – 7.30pm and will include a buffet and Disco. As this is a special event, your child will need to be dressed smartly.

   

  Due to the Disco finishing late, all children will need to be collected by an adult (18 years old or over) at 7.30pm prompt. The cost of the event is £5.00 to help to pay for the Disco and food.

   

  This night will be very special for your child, as it celebrates the end of their time at primary school, and we hope all children will be able to attend.

   

  Please go to Parent Mail to complete the     consent form (which can be found in the forms section) and please go to the payment section to purchase your child’s ticket.

   

• Medical Appointments

  A reminder that any routine appointments should be made outside of school time. Any other medical appointments -school will need to see proof as this will affect your child’s attendance.

• Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly

  We are having a Leavers’ Assembly on Monday 21st July at 9.30am in the school hall. The assembly will last approximately one hour. All the Year 6 children will be taking part and we hope that you can join us.

   

  We look forward to seeing you there, but please be aware that due to limited capacity in the hall, we are limited to two parents/carers per child.

   

  Thank you for your support with this and we look forward to seeing you to celebrate our wonderful Year 6 children.

   

  

• Brass Workshop

  Some of the children took part in a Brass workshop this week, learning about brass instruments. The children also took part in a performance and thoroughly enjoyed it! Well done! Thank you to Mr Rimmer for organising this workshop,

   

  

• Weekly Attendance Winners

  This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.
