Nursery had a trip to forest school this week. They were looking for signs of autumn and found lots there. All the children had a fantastic time and can't wait to go again.
Well done to Luna and George for being chosen Breakfast Club Superstars!
This week in English, Year 6 have been looking at persuasive writing. The children were split into groups and each given an endangered animal. Their task was to persuade Mrs Pridgeon that their animal was the one that should be adopted by the class. All the children worked extremely hard on researching their animals and producing persuasive posters and speeches. Mrs Pridgeon found it a very hard task to judge but the winners were:
Miss Bingham's class - the polar bear group
Miss Moulton's class - the dolphin group.
Please can we remind parents/carers that any routine appointments need to made outside of school hours.
Thank you for your support with this,

Monday 11th November—Year 2
We hope to see as many parents as possible.
Thank you for your continued support.
Talking to your child about safer strangers
When you are outside of your house there are lots of people. People you do not know are called strangers. Not all strangers are nice and you cannot tell if somebody is nice by how they look.
If somebody you are not expecting to asks you to go with them never go with them, and go and tell an adult.
If you are lost or scared look for a safer adult stranger.
Who is a safer adult stranger? A parent/ carer, a police officer, a doctor, a teacher are all examples of safer strangers
If you cannot find a safer stranger look for a safer building you can go in to which may have safer adult strangers inside.
What is a safer building? A church, a mosque, a police station, a local shop such as Tesco.
If you are worried about any conversations or behaviours of strangers tell your safer people who can help.
More information and resources can be found at clevernevergoes.org and you can follow the lick to the guidance on NSPCC below
