  Racheal Biggs - Attendance Lead in the office, has secured a new post as the Attendance Officer at Bowlee Park Primary School in Middleton and will be leaving us today.

• Reading Workshops

  This term the reading workshops will be as follows:

   

  Tuesday 30th April– Year 5

  Tuesday 7th May– Year 4

   

  Sessions will run 9am-9.30am. Tea/coffee will be provided. As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.

• Fantastic Achievements

  Jayden now has a sponsor - RRG  Toyota  - who are supporting him being part of Team GB. Look at the car they have done for him.  After training in Kettering last weekend, he is now preparing for a big competition on 18th May - a world qualifier  for Dubai 2025. Good Luck Jayden!

• Weekly Attendance Winners

  This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

• SATS Information

  Year 2 SATS - From this year, the government has changed the expectation for testing in year 2, and the children will not sit their SATs tests as they have done previously. Instead we will continue with our own internal assessment systems.

   

  Year 6 SATS - Taking place from Monday 13th May until Thursday 16th May.

   

  Year 4 Multiplication Check - Taking place weeks commencing Monday 3rd June and Monday 10th June.

   

  Year 1 Phonics - Week commencing Monday 10th June.
