Some of our children from KS1 took part in a dance festival this week at Heybrook Primary School. They performed a routine they have been practising during our dance & gymnastics after school club. They all did really well and remembered all their moves!
Some of our Year 6 children visited the Imperial War Museum this week. They did some research, watched a big picture show about Britain during the war and talked to volunteers about what life was like at that time.

The children who entered our Dippy the Dinosaur competition, were invited to Number One Riverside in Rochdale to celebrate their achievements. Well done to you all. We are so very proud of you!
Well done to Mrs Stamp and our Early Years staff. We received excellent feedback following a ‘toothbrushing programme’ audit recently, and we would like to share this with our parents!
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Marland Hill for making me feel so welcome and for all their hard work and commitment in implementing the programme. It was evident to see that it is carried out in a very professional manner to the highest standard, with excellent cross infection procedures in place. All the children appeared to be very happy and engaged in their daily brushing, they were encouraged to brush independently and the use of the song on You Tube encouraged them to brush for the correct amount of time. It was wonderful to see how easy the whole process was for everyone involved”.
Year 6 parents and carers are invited to a Coffee Reading Morning for Year 6 on Thursday 12th March at 9.00am-10.00am. This will be held in the school hall. Letters have been sent home with your children. We look forward to seeing you there!
