The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

Thank you to all parents/carers for attending the Y4 reading morning, it was lovely to see you all.
The next reading workshop is as follows:
· Tuesday 17th October – Year 3
Sessions will run 9.00am-9.30am. Tea/coffee will be provided. As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.
Well done to Isla for winning the dancer of the month!
Amazing!
This week 8 of our students took part in the Aspire Project, where the children linked up with 8 children from Hamer. They took a walk around Rochdale to visit some historic sites and learn more about them. The children had a great time and learned lots of interesting facts.
Parents Meetings will be taking place week commencing Monday 6th November. These will be face to face and will be as follows:
· Monday 6th November - EYFS & KS1
· Tuesday 7th November - KS2
· Wednesday 8th November - EYFS & KS1
· Thursday 9th November - KS2
No after school clubs will be taking place this week.
This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Thank you for your continued support.
