The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

Due to a number of cases of headlice within school we would like to ask parents to check their children’s hair for headlice. Messages have been sent out on Parentmail and if you require any information or guidance you can visit the NHS Website at this link below.

Thank you
A polite reminder to ensure your child brings their water bottle into school with their name clearly labelled. No juice or flavoured water is allowed, just water. Thank you for your continued support.
A polite reminder to parents that any routine appointment for children should be made outside of school hours. This is so that there is minimal disruption to your child’s learning.
Thank You for your continued support.
Year 1 are having a dress up like rock star day to relaunch Times Tables Rock Stars. This will be taking place on Monday 11th November, there will also be a schools competition for that week and the following week. More information to follow.
The children have worked hard during the head boy and girl campaign. All four children did very well planning and delivering their speeches during assemblies and making posters for the campaign. The rest of the school listened to their speeches, asked some fantastic questions and then cast their votes. We are pleased to announce the results as follows:
· Head Boy is Hamza
· Deputy Head Boy is Jack
· Head girl is Kiran
· Deputy Head Girl is Ayesha
Well done to Hamza, Jack, Kiran and Ayesha.
As part of their History topic work on the Victorians this term, Year 6 will be going to Rochdale Pioneers Museum on Wednesday 23rd October. Children will be walking to the museum and back with members of school staff, so please ensure your child wears their school uniform and a suitable coat, hat, shoes etc. according to the weather.
The children will take part in a workshop as part of the visit so we are asking parents for a voluntary contribution of £2 towards the cost of this. This can be made with the shop section of parent mail.
You will need to complete the consent form and payment item on parent mail. Please complete this as soon as possible.
Thank You
