  On Friday, Year 6 had their activity day, in which they participated in various outdoor activities. More information to follow next week.

   

• Year 6 Leavers Disco

  On Tuesday 16^th July, we will be holding our annual Year 6 Leavers’ Disco.  It will take place from 5.30pm – 7.30pm and will include a buffet and disco.  As this is a special event, your child will need to be dressed smartly.

   

  Due to the Disco finishing late, all children will need to be collected by an adult (18 years old or over) at 7.30pm prompt. The cost of the event is £5.00 to help to pay for the disco and food.

   

  Please go to Parent Mail to complete the consent form (which can be found in the forms section) and please go to the payment section to purchase your child’s ticket. Tickets are £5 per child.

   

   

   

   

• Careers

  Next year, one of our school priorities is going to be to develop our careers education. We want to provide the children with positive role models and help them to build up an understanding of local industries to allow them to make informed choices about careers.

   

  We would like your help to do this. We would like to build up a bank of parents, or other family members, who would be willing to talk to a class of children about the job that they do. If you would like to help us with this then please could you contact the office with details of your job and a contact email or phone number.

• Weekly Attendance Winners

  This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

• School Dinners

  If your child is currently in year 2 and will be coming into year 3 in September school dinners will be charged at £3.00 per day. If you are eligible for free school meals then you will need to apply online: https://www.rochdale.gov.uk/benefits-money/free-school-meals

   

• Breakfast Club

  From September we will be increasing the cost of breakfast club from £1 a day to £2. If your child currently attends and will no longer require a place in September then please let us know so we can offer places to children currently on the waiting list. Thank you for your understanding.
