Children will leave shortly after registration and will have their lunch there. If your child is on school dinners then a grab bag will be ordered for them. If your child normally has a packed lunch then they will need to bring it in as normal.

School is heavily subsiding this visit and we are asking for a parental contribution of £10. If we do not receive sufficient funds then the visit will have to be cancelled.

Please complete the consent form on parent mail, which can be found in the forms section. Please go to parent mail to pay the parental contribution of £10, by going to payments/shop.

  • Rochdale Best Start Family Hub App

    Fri 01 May 2026

Rochdale has worked with Essential Parent and local services to create the new Family Hub app. The app is designed to make it easier for families to get the right help when they need it.

    Download the Family Hub app

    ·         Download the GM Family Hub app for your Apple device

    ·         Download the GM Family Hub app for your Android device

Once downloaded, choose Rochdale to get started.

The Rochdale Family Hub app will:

    ·         bring trusted local and national information straight to your phone

    ·         give clear guidance for every stage of being a parent

    ·         connect you to local health, education and community services

Whether you are getting ready for a new baby, looking after a toddler, or supporting an older child, the app has helpful advice all in one place.

The Family Hub app is here to help you feel supported and confident every step of the way.

    How the app works

You can personalise the app by adding your due date or your child’s date of birth. This helps you receive tailored information for your stage of pregnancy or your child’s age. You’ll also get updates from your local Family Hub team.

The app includes details of local groups and services in Rochdale, and the content is available in 75 languages.
