  • Rochdale Music Service Christmas Cracker Concert

    On Sunday 3rd December Y6 pupils took part in the Rochdale Music Service Christmas Cracker Concert alongside 120 children from other primary schools in rochdale. It was a fantastic festive event held at Gracie Fields Theatre, with an audience of around 200 parents and family members. The children did us proud!

  • Singing round the Tree

    Our annual singing round the tree assembly will be on the last day of term, Wednesday 20th December at 9am.  Tickets will be available on a first come first served basis and are limited.  They will be available from the school office on Tuesday 5th December from 8.30am.
  • Pantomime Reminder

    The pantomime for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 is on Wednesday 6th December.  Your child will be provided with a packed lunch.  Children need to be collected from the usual doors at 4.15pm.

    The pantomime for Year 3-6 is on Thursday 7th December.  Please provide your child with a packed lunch on this day.  If your child is entitled to free school meals they will be provided with a packed lunch from school.  Children need to be collected from the usual doors at 4.15pm.

    If you haven't sent in the permission slip please ensure you do so ASAP otherwise your child will be unable to go.

  • Christmas Fair Non Uniform Day

    We will be having our Christmas Fair on Thursday 14th December at 3pm.  Thank you for your donations so far.  We are holding another non uniform day on  Friday 8th December and we are asking for donations of sweets/lollies from the Foundation Stage, Year 1 & Year 2, with donations of chocolate please for Year 3 to Year 6.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
  • Christmas Concerts

    Nursery and Reception classes will be having their performance on Tuesday 12th December at 1.30pm and Wednesday 13th December at 9.30am.  Parents do not need tickets to attend.
  • IPLCN Dance Festival

    Children from UKS2 represented the school in the IPLCN Dance Festival at Spotland Primary School.  The children were fantastic and had a wonderful time.

    Good Luck to Miss Green, our Year 2 teacher and Key Stage 1 Unit Leader, who is finishing today for maternity leave. We wish you health & happiness for you and your new baby.
  • Christmas Fair Non Uniform Days

    We will be having our Christmas Fair on Thursday 14th December at 3pm.  We are holding two non uniform days in return for donations.  On Friday 24th November, we will be having our first non uniform day, and we are requesting donations of toiletries from the Foundation Stage, Year 1 & Year 2 children.  For Year 3 to Year 6 children, we are asking for donations of bottles.  Friday 8th December is our second non uniform day, and we are asking for donations of sweets/lollies from the Foundation Stage, Year 1 & Year 2, with donations of chocolate please for Year 3 to Year 6.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
  • Twinning Project

    Year 3 have started to work in partnership with Alkrington Primary School in Middleton, as part of a 'twinning project'.  This project is an opportunity for our Year 3 children to work in partnership with children from a different community in Rochdale.  The children have already exchanged letters and a fantastic piece of art work.  The first face to face workshops took place today with Miss Button's class and our new friends from Alkrington at the M6 Theatre. Mrs Hall's class are looking forward to their workshop on Wednesday 8th November. We will keep you posted.
