As part of the new rules under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), parents are now required to provide us with any changes in writing. We have forms in the school office to update any changes. Please call to the office if you need to change a phone number or add someone to the collection list. If you have moved address we require proof of the new address under the guidelines. If you have any queries please contact the school office. Thank you for your continued cooperation.
As part of our school safety week, our Year 6 children will be going to Crucial Crew in Bolton on Tuesday 12th March 2019. We sent a letter home to Year 6 this week. Please send the permission slip and a contribution of £5 towards coach travel back to the school office as soon as possible. Thank you.
Our Year 6 parents meetings will be on Tuesday 26th February. Letters have gone home with children this week. Please could you return the reply slip no later than Friday 15th February.

This year World Book Day is on Thursday 7th March. On World Book Day we will all be reading the same picture book called ’The chicken that hatched a cow’. Classes will be taking part in activities linked to this book. Children will take part in paired reading on this day. We invite children to come to school in animal fancy dress. Theme linked to the book.
We will be giving out the World Book Day book tokens week commencing 4th March 2019. These can be exchanged for £1 off any book, please note there will only be one token per child. Thank you.
Well done to the dodgeball team who played against Bowlee Park Primary School this week. They played really well but Bowlee were the winners. Well done Marland Hill.
Our Reception children will be practicing brushing their teeth at school with their friends very soon. Parents should have received a letter about this recently. If not, please call into the school office to ask for a copy, or please download one from our 'letters home' section of this website.
Please return your permission slip as soon as possible to your child's class teacher, as without this your child will not be allowed to take part.
Your child will also be be given a tooth brushing kit, for them to use at home. Please encourage your child to use it regularly, and practice good oral hygiene from a young age. Thank you for your co-operation.
Thank you to those parents who managed to get children into school and on time, despite the snowy weather. We work hard to ensure we are open during bad weather spells.
