  • Lost Property

Please can we remind all parents and carers to label your child’s clothing for school, including PE kits, coats, hats etc.  We are spending a lot of time each day trying to find lost items and return them to your children.  Please can you also instil unto your child a sense of responsibility when it comes to looking after their personal belongings, so they don’t get lost in the first place.  Thank you for your co-operation.

  • Year 1 Library Cards

    Fri 20 Sep 2019

This year’s borough-wide “A Library Card for Every Child” initiative, is now in its fourth year. Our school has received a delivery of children’s library cards and explanatory leaflets for parents/guardians, including details of how to “activate the card”, information about the benefits of library membership and about the forthcoming Rochdale Literature & Ideas Festival (14-21 October).  This year, the cards are of a limited edition design, highlighting the visit of Dippy, the Natural History Museum’s diplodocus, to Rochdale’s Number One Riverside, from February to June next year.  We will be sending these home with all our Year 1 children.  Please check your child’s school bag.
